Package delivery
Escaping players must pick up packages and deliver them to the drop-off point without being caught by the catchers. The escaping team that delivers the most packages wins! Be careful, because the catchers are notified of every package delivery and receive the exact location of the team that delivered the package!
At the beginning of the game, a head start is provided so that the escapees can get far enough away
The game is divided into rounds; at the beginning of each new round, the catchers receive the exact positions of the escaping teams on the map.
The chaser teams see live at the bottom how many meters they are in a straight line from which escaping team
If you have caught a player, their entire team is considered caught. You send a capture request to the team, which they accept.
At the beginning of the game, the catchers must not move during the waiting period. The escaping teams can start moving to get as far away as possible.
At the beginning of each round, the escaping teams receive a notification about how close the nearest chasing team is to them in a straight line.
Depending on the game mode, escaping teams may also have tasks during the game, but their main objective is to move around the playing field without getting caught.
You win the game if you are not caught before the time runs out. If a catching team sends a capture request, you can accept or decline it in the app.

Everything you need to know before you hit the streets.
Yes. The core game is 100% free for standard squads. We only charge for 'Premium' if you want to host massive lobbies with unlimited teams, which is perfect for larger events, birthdays, or teambuilding.
Continuous GPS tracking does use more power, but we've heavily optimized our background engine to minimize the drain. For longer 2+ hour matches, we recommend starting with a full charge or bringing a power bank.
Absolutely. Your location data is strictly processed to run the game and is only visible to the players in your specific, private lobby. Once the match ends or you leave the lobby, tracking stops immediately.
Very little. Our real-time synchronization sends tiny data packets. A typical 2-hour match uses less data than scrolling through social media for 5 minutes.
Yes! Catch Me is fully cross-platform. Just share the lobby code, and anyone can join the hunt regardless of their device.
On most Android devices, you can stay in the game even if you close it. However, it is recommended to let it run in the background. If the phone disconnects for some reason, you will receive a notification from the game to open the application. A "Continue" button will appear in the main menu, which will take you back to the game.
Yes! Feel free to put the game in the background and pocket your phone. You'll get notified about what's happening in the game.
During the game, a Chat interface is available in the menu where you can ask the player who started the game. It was designed so that if a game rule or technical question arises, it can be asked here, and the host can also use it for information.
The game includes a chat interface with a limited number of messages allowed. It is used to send messages to other teams that the opposing teams do not receive. This eliminates the need for any external chat applications and the need for players to constantly inform each other about everything.
Everyone who participated in the game can watch the match again. With the sharing ID, it can be made available to others. If you do not want to store the replay data, the participants in the game can permanently delete the data. It is enough for one player to delete it and it will never be available to anyone again.
The game is flexible, so the conditions for "catching" are entirely up to you. Discuss it before you start: is it enough to touch the fugitive? Or does it also count if you are within speaking distance on the same side of the road? Play it the way that works for you!
